It is our belief that the school district belongs to all of its citizens. Its purpose is to educate our children. To pay for this we agree to let the school board tax us. The school board members owe us an explanation as to why they spent $1.0 million of our money to fire someone.
They have chosen to take the resources out of the classroom and/or increase our taxes without giving us an explanation. They should not be permitted to hide the reason for this exorbitant pay out by claiming it is a privileged matter.
This is our district, our children, and our money, they owe us the truth.
